Rooms

The Community Hall has one large main hall space and one smaller meeting room which can be hired separately or together. There is an entrance hallway, kitchen with hatch to the main hall, kitchenette close to the small meeting room, plus toilets that have access from both hireable rooms. The main large hall has a patio door that can open out to the garden.  

Parking

The on-site carpark will cater for up to 32 cars, including two spaces for disabled visitors. There is gated access to the hall site off Church Lane, Whittington.  The carpark is for hall users only. You are kindly requested to ensure that those attending your event remove their vehicles from the carpark after your event, to allow access for other people to park for an event that may follow yours.

A bike shed and bike rack are available to use in the carpark.

There is an electrical car charging point in the carpark (cost to be confirmed).

Pricing

You can hire specific parts of the hall, or the entire hall as a whole.
Charges are from the time you enter the Community Hall to when you leave. They include your set up time and clear away time as well as your event. The minimum hire time is usually two hours.

Prices  are as follows:-
- The main hall large room - £20 per hour (£22 per hour from 1st April 2023)
- The main hall large room when hired for *regular weekly bookings - £15 per hour
(*e.g. for repeat weekly classes that are open tor the Community to join)
- The small meeting room (with kitchenette included) - £10 per hour (£11 per hour from 1st April 2023)
- The main kitchen - £5 per hour [when hired with the main hall large room] (£6 per hour from 1st April 2023)
- Exclusive hire of the whole hall is £35 per hour (£38 per hour from 1st April 2023)

COVID -19 Guidelines

Please adhere to current Covid-19 government regulations and guidelines at the time of your event. Those hiring the hall will be responsible for ensuring the safety of those attending their event and other hall users, including sanitising touch points before and after your event.

Consideration should be given when planning your event to social distancing, mask wearing and track and trace requirements.

The hall has a new air flow system throughout the building, to keep the hall ventilated, plus both cool or warm when needed.

There are ceiling windows in the main large hall space that can open to give fresh air, which close automatically should there be rain.
