The Hall's History

New Build project

This has been a project that was started some years ago, with a vision of replacing the run down original 1950's old hall with a new building that residents of Whittington Parish could be proud of, that would instil in us all the desire to use the hall and would bring the community together and help towards the health and well being of those using it.

It has been enabled thanks to a Community Legacy Grant by Wychavon District Council and a Public Works Loan taken out by Whittington Parish Council on behalf of the Parish. It is with grateful thanks to Wychavon District Council for their financial support, the the parish residents for their commitment and support in taking the loan, and to the Parish Council and the volunteers Hall Management Committee for their continued hard work and time given, which has brought this project to the place we are now  - opening a brand new state of the art hall in early September 2021.
